I was super excited for Wednesday. Sebastian and I got to go down to Galveston and shoot his riffle to get it ready for deer hunting next weekend. I'm pretty stoked to go deer hunting! It is the utmost boring, freezing, sedentary thing in the world but at the same time so peaceful and serene from the busy city and work, work, work.
Thursday was of course a day of Thanks. We spent Thanksgiving at Melissa and Oswaldo's house with Sebastian's family and then my mom joined us for some dessert. We ate and drank and played poker and fussball. I have so much to be thankful for this year. My family is healthy, my friends are awesome and I have the most hands down ahhhmazing boyfriend ever!! Lastly, I am so thankful to have a job. Sometimes I have to take a step back and take a look at the big picture. I constantly struggle with wanting to succeed and get to the next level of my career, which I think is good that I have that factor, but at the same time I let it consume my head. So... with that being said, I am so so thankful for everything that I have and I truly feel blessed!
Ahhh Friday, back to work! Even though I had to hold down the office all by my lonesome, I was excited for my photo shoot for Paper Doll later that evening. I was honestly starting to get down about my new business venture. I am the type of person who is impatient and loves progress. I need to feel like I am getting somewhere whether it's business or relationships. After two awesome sessions with Adrian at Mpire Design, I was excited for what was to come. Thanksgiving came around and I had to work around it and wait a week for my photo shoot, which was understandable. All that down time got me kind of down though. I had to keep re-motivating myself and telling my self to keep on going. Even the smallest thing like a verse out of a song on the radio would keep me going, and the long heart felt, venting, or me bitching, sit down talks with Sebastian helped too!
Fast forward... the shoot was a success! I am uber happy with the shoot! I love Trish Badger with Trish Badger Photography. She is the sweetest most hardworking photographer and I personally want to see her go a long way in her career. Here are some photos from the whole Thanksgiving weekend!
