Vegas in October

In a nutshell.. I had a blast in Vegas. I felt so free, like a free spirit. It definitely was not a relaxing vacation. We went and went and went. I almost feel like Thursday - Sunday wasn't enough time. Our days consisted of staying up late, drinking and gambling and getting up as early as we could to see all the sights. I think I could have used another day of rest before going back to work.

It just so happens along with my family being in Vegas, so was Sebastian's Aunt Teena and Uncle Steve, who frequent Vegas often. Needless to say, when we hung with them, we got the royal treatment. I ended up winning $150 dollars and Sebastian lost some undisclosed amount of money. Grr. Oh well, what else are you going to do in Vegas.

The only thing that sucked on the trip was that my camera broke right before we made it to the new baby white tigers at the zoo. I had to resort to my crappy iphone camera that can't take photos worth a crap.

Currently we have no vacations planned for next year, although Sebastian is leaving on Wednesday for a dive trip in Cozumel. Next year I'm contemplating skiing in Colorado, Cape Town Africa, or Manuel Antonio Costa Rica. I just really want to leave the country.

Anywho.. my mood is foul, my back hurts and I'm tired of working. The only reason I'm writing is to take a break and to play catch up on my blog so one day I can look back and remember what I have actually done. So... Here are photos from Vegas!

Gee.. Where do I begin??

Well it has been a good while since I have written in this blog. I am trying to think of what I have been doing since our last trip to Cali. So much has happened...

Well to start off, we went to Dallas and I gambled for my first time ever! We met our friends Richard & Becca in Dallas then drove to Oklahoma for his birthday. I had such a good time, except for loosing a lot of money. That sucked. Other than that the whole weekend was so relaxing and I really liked Dallas.

For Sebastian’s 31st birthday I booked a trip to Cozumel. I really didn't do anything big for his 30th birthday, so I really wanted this one to be special. We went in August and boy was it HOT! We just did a little 4 day get away and I got to scuba dive for the first time. It was so cool! I got to see a spotted eagle ray, a sea turtle and a nurse shark! I couldn't keep my buoyancy right, so I was really more focused on that rather than looking around at all the sea life. I will definitely be doing it again though.

The 3rd day was probably the most fun. We rented a jeep and drove around the whole island. We went to a really beautiful place on the island where the snorkeling was awesome! There was also a really neat light house that we in. You could see all of Cozumel... it was awesome!

For lunch we went to a well known place in Cozumel called Coconuts. It is on a cliff overlooking the beautiful blue water. The fajitas were so good and the margaritas were even better! I would recommend going here if you are ever in Cozumel.

We recently found out my cousin is engaged! They are getting married in Vegas! So we are definatly going to that! Viva Las Vegas!
