Totally on a whim!

So, recently I've been doing a little more real estate. I love decorating and looking at homes, I love showing homes to people and getting decorating ideas from other homeowners. Which leads me to 'the house'.
I was on Facebook the other day looking at some of my friends listings and I came across a listing I absolutely fell in love with. It is a little condo in the heart of the Montrose area. Great location and it’s a 2 bed 2.5 bath! So, I sent it to Sebastian to look at. I only expected him to say 'that's cute' and go on about the day. The next thing you know we put an offer in! Now, I am really NOT getting my hopes up because there is already another offer in on it, so we are the backup offer...Tear. On the bright side... we are the only other back up offer! If we don't get it then everything happens for a reason... right?? Regardless, if we ever get a house, this one would definitely have some inspiration to me! Now all we have to do is wait. Maybe these other people won't get financed : )

Me & My Bebe's 1st year together!!! Yay for us!

I was laying be bed last night reminiscing about me and Sebastian's first year together. When I actually thought about it...we have had a lot of firsts this year! I mean A LOT!! Here are just some to name a few...

1. We went to Cancun.
2. Visited New York...both of us for the 1st time.
3. We fell in love in New York.
4. Traveled to Italy... and drank every... single ...day...
5. Attended a wedding in Acapulco.
6. We moved in together. Yay!
7. Had our 1st Thanksgiving dinner together.
8. Celebrated our 1st official Christmas together! (Last year we exchanged presents, but didn't spend it together)

I feel giddy just talking about it. It makes me so happy! There were SO many things we shared this year, so many pictures taken and I feel so grateful to have experienced them with such a fantastic man. I hope to share many, many more years and memories with him!

I am going to try and post pictures from our trips of just us that I have never uploaded before.. Enjoy!

Good Bye 2009...

I can't believe Christmas and New Years is over!! Kind of makes me sad, back to the grind… yada, yada, yada. I feel very reluctant to take down Christmas tree.

Richard and Becca came in from Dallas for New Years and all of us did dinner at Escalante’s and partied at Hearsay…nothing too fancy. New Years day we went to eat Mexican food again at Cyclones and sat outside in the cold. It was a super lazy New Years Eve day.

New Years Resolution. - Save as much money as possible! I am retracting to the days when I had money yet I was too cheap to go buy lunch when I had brought my lunch to work. The girls used to go get taquito’s in the morning and I would pass on a $1.85 taco because I wanted that money in my bank account. Weird I know. Yep, that’s my resolution! Save, Save, Save.

Sebastian’s New Years Resolution – He doesn’t believe in them.

I am however really excited about going hunting in Kerrville at the end of this month! I have never been, so I am probably in for a surprise. I, for the life of me will not shoot a dear, so instead I told Sebastian that I will shoot at beer cans, and at trees, and play with my new I Phone he got me : ) I hope it works all the way out there… and I hope I don’t freeze to death! I have no warm clothes.

Oh and I guess we are not getting another cat after all. Snif, snif... After Munchkin left, Sebastian said that we could get another cat. He said we could go look at least, but we, eerr.. I mean he, decided that It would be best to just have Miko. I guess that’s fine and all but I really wanted Miko to have a friend to play with while we are not home. Oh well!

I will post other peoples pictures soon. I didn’t have my camera New Years night.. Shocking, I know!
