Merry Christmas!!

Sebastian and I went to Galveston again this year. I have to say, it was a pretty laid back Christmas, which was really nice.

1st off, we are watching Munchkin (Miko's cousin) for Christmas while Melissa and Oswaldo are on their honeymoon somewhere in the Virgin Islands (grr). The first night the kitty’s didn't like each other at all! Munchkin kept meowing all night and Miko kept hissing at him. The second day they became best friends! Yay! They now run, play, tackle each other and cuddle. I love having two cats! Miko is never alone which makes me really happy but Sebastian is stuck on the fact that we are NOT getting another cat. He wants a dog, but I am stuck on the fact that we aren't getting a dog untill we have a house. We got to leave both kitty’s overnight while we were in Galveston and I didn't even feel bad because they can entertain each other : ).. I know.. I am such a goober over my cats.

Me, Munchkin and the Kitty City.

Here are the cats playing in their Kitty City

So... I never really liked Galveston until we spent Christmas there. We went down Christmas Eve to spend it with his dad and we ate crab and shrimp gumbo for lunch! Yumm. After that we headed to his moms and step dads to eat some yummmmy tamales! Oh... I was so stuffed from all the food I felt like a blimp!! On Christmas day we opened presents at his moms and ate stew. I got to go around the island with Sebastian and his step dad George after we ate and they showed me all the nicer parts of the Island with some huge houses and great views! I loved being on the beach for Christmas.. it was so serene.

Ahhhhhhh....

Our new home!! (hehehe)

Sebastian and Molly

We spent the afternoon at my parents here in Houston and opened more presents! We actually had 4 Christmas's this year! His dads, his moms, my parents and then we had our own private Christmas with the kitty’s! It was a really good Christmas. My 3 most favorite presents were my Mac Mouse (thank you Geina and George), my Michael Kors Watch (thanks mommy & daddy), and my I Phone! (Thanks bebe!!)

Oh! And we are going to Germany and Switzerland in July!!!! YAY!

Moving on..

I always feel like I have writers block. I start writing because I have so much to say, but I never know where to begin...

We attended Sebastian's grandmas wake today. The funeral is tomorrow. I love his family. Even though we've only been together a year, they make me feel so comfortable when I'm around. Especially Ellen and Andrea (Sebastian's cousins). They are the sweetest girls I think I have ever met in my life, and they have awesome husbands too! They are such good hearted people, that it makes me want to strive to be a better person.

I was very fortunate to meet Sebastian's grandma (Nane) before she passed... probably only about 3 times. I wish I would have met Sebastian a long time ago just so I could have know his grandmother longer. It was always a pleasure to see her and I have heard so many great things about her. I especially wish I would have gotten to try some of her home cooked meals. Nane, you will be missed.

On the brighter side of things. Sebastian is going back to school for his double Masters degree in Business and Healthcare Administration! I am super proud of him! I have decided that since he is going to be crazy busy with work and school that I need to participate in extra circular activities as well, SO, I am going to teach myself Spanish! Good ol' Rosetta Stone. Don't laugh. Well, I am going to try and teach myself Spanish at least.

The next two years of our lives will be interesting. I will be working and Sebastian will be working full time (which is an understatement) and going to school full time which means the only time we will be together is when we sleep. Hopefully, I am assuming the worst and it really wont be THAT bad. I honestly think if we can make it through his school we can make it through anything. Spring courses start mid January so stay tuned...

Other than that the only other interesting thing that happened was I was being a complete drunk idiot last night and tried to jump on Liz, fell backwards and almost punctured my rib cage with the corner of our magazine rack. Needless to say I'm having trouble moving around today and all the hugs from the funeral didn't help.
