All deposits are out! We are officially getting married! : ) It seemed like it would never happen with all the struggles we encountered in the beginning. We have been trying to scrimp and save as much money as possible so we decided to make our own invitations. Well, that was a pain the the arse! It was kind of fun to see the final product made, but I did not like tying the ribbon around the invites and licking 80 envelopes.
I guess the next step is piking out all the decorations and flowers via email. Since we are doing a destination wedding, I send the wedding planner some ideas to go with and then she sends me photos of what will actually be in my wedding. This will be interesting!
Did I mention registering was exhausting!! We knocked it all out in one day at Bed Bath & Beyond and Crate & Barrel. I had ran 3 miles that morning at Memorial Park, so my feet were not too happy with me. I never knew registering was SO much work!
I feel like these months are going to go by so quickly. It's kind of bittersweet because I wanted our engagement to last a little longer but due to the rainy season in Costa Rica, it was either do it in August or wait till next year. So, next up is our engagement photos! I am uber excited! We are doing them down in Galveston where Sebastian is from.
Got to go now.. we are going to watch the Bachelor, the women tell all. We love trash TV!

Wedding planning...
Is a bitch. Not to mention expensive. Is it this hard for everyone? Well I guess when you have money you can just pay for whatever wedding planner you want. We are planning to get married in Costa Rica in August. I have tried many times to get someone in Costa Rica to help me with my wedding planning and from what I understand, they like to take their time down there in beautiful Central America. Sure, it's understandable, they live in a beautiful rainforest with lots of gorgeous scenery, the love leisure more than business, but I would like some help here! I would like to put down a deposit! Somebody call me or even email me back! Sigh.
On the other hand, I truly feel blessed to have such good friends in my life. We just recently had some of our friends Lorna and Thomas take us to dinner to celebrate my birthday and our engagement. The next night we had Jeff and Terri take us out to an amazing dinner at Americas. I am super excited and looking forward to our engagement party this weekend, which is being thrown my by very best friend, Stefanie and her boyfriend Lucky. Here are some pictures from this past weekend!

Whirlwind Week's
Well Sebastian proposed at an amazing time. So amazing that I think I gained 10 lbs. from everyone taking us out to eat! Don't get me wrong, I love going out to eat, but we saw family member after family member after friends and more friends! It was awesome and now I'm paying for it!
The night after the fine steak dinner my hunney took me to, we went to meet my new official cousins to be for Mexican food! I am such a lucky girl to marry into such an amazing, cool, fun family. The night after that we went to Olive Garden, yes Olive Garden with Sebastian's mom and step dad (we had a gift card!) The company was great! The food... ehh. The night after THAT, we went to The Foundation Room for one of Sebastian's clients birthday and then Double Cross for my good friend Vikky's birthday. Umm, the food at the Foundation Room was AHmazing! (4 lbs. heavier) Monday night was a rest night. Tuesday night was resident happy hour, Wednesday night was we leave for Dallas and eat Chik-Fil-A on the way there.... ugh! Thursday night was Victor Tangos in Dallas, Friday night dinner with the Greene's (Mexican Food!) Whew, I have arrived at 10 extra lbs. Needless to say, I am in no mood to try on wedding dresses!
While in Dallas we went to our first clothing market for Paper Doll. To sum it up, I was in Heaven! Clothes galore! It was definitely a learning experience though. We learned a lot about the market and we will be back! The website is coming along and I am super excited for whats to come! Special thanks to Ashard Richley!

We're Engaged!!
I was actually off on the day we got engaged. I ran errands and then met my best friend for lunch. Sebastian and I really never get any days off together due to our work schedule so he ended up coming home early and told me that he had booked a couples massage for us at Trellis Spa. I was like babe..."that's expensive!" You didn't need to do that! Little did I know that the whole spa was in on the little surpirse that I would be getting that evening.
After our couples massage, I remember the lady saying 'Are you ready for your facial?' I said "Oh i'm not getting a facial." ... Sebastian said, "Yes you are." So after all that I kinda had a idea that something was up. While I was getting a facial I thought to myself surely he can't propose to me with no make up on! About 20 minutes before I was done with my facial, the power to the spa went out. I was wrong! After my facial a lady me told me that Seabastian was waiting for me in the Tranquility room. When I walked in, there were tea lights and rose petals everywhere. He was sitting in a chair with a bottle of champagne and a dozen roses. He told me how much he loved me and after that the rest was a blur because I couldn't really think straight! Then he asked me to marry him!
We ended the night at Eddie V's here in Houston. Which was damn good by the way! The night was absolutely PERFECT! I am so lucky to get such an amazing man. I will remember this day forever!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!
Well I'm a little or a lot behind on blogging. We have been out and about. For Christmas we went to Galveston and had some A-mazing lasagna made by Sebastian's mom and then we went to his fathers house for some homemade fried gulf shrimp with au gratin potatoes that were mmm mmm good! I was so freakin fat by the end of the day! Oh well... tis the season!
Some of the presents I got were a new luggage, 2 pairs of heels, gift cards, a whole hell of a lot of wine, 2 slap chops (by mistake), 4 cook books (I think someone is trying to tell me something), and my favorite present of all which my hunney got me, it's a gold ring with my initial P on it.
To ring in the New Year we traveled to Austin, TX with a bunch of friends and boy did we have a BLAST! Well except for all the freaks in our hotel. Come to find out there was or is an Anime convention that happens at the Hilton every year on New Years Eve. Never, I repeat NEVER stay at the Hilton Downtown Austin on New Years, much less stay on one of the top floors. The hotel was packed! Seven packed elevators came and went before we had to search for the service elevator to get to the 1st floor.
But never mind that, we rang in the New Year bar hopping, drinking, playing ping pong, dominoes, and par 3 golf, and last but not least with our good friends at Speakeasy. I say we do Austin every year! The weather was gorgeous and the air just felt so clean. I could defiantly move there!
As far as Paper Doll is going, I am working on financials right now and they are a pain in my ass, but I am looking forward to finishing the task.
Here are some photos from NYE!
